国内感染、新たに６２４人　東京２３５人、２日ぶり２００人超―新型コロナ

　国内では１７日、新たに６２４人の新型コロナウイルス感染者が確認された。死者は東京で３人、長野と大阪、兵庫でそれぞれ１人の計６人増え、累計で１６８４人となった。
　東京都では、新たに２３５人の感染者が確認された。１日当たりの新規感染者数が２００人を超えたのは２日ぶり。
　都によると、年代別では２０代が６４人で最も多く、３０代４４人、４０代３６人と続いた。６５歳以上は３３人。重症者は前日から２人減り、２３人だった。
　徳島県では、徳島大（徳島市）の１０～２０代の学生９人の感染が判明した。県はクラスター（感染者集団）と認定し、友人ら濃厚接触者約３０人の検査を進める。
　同大によると、９人は同じアルバイト先に勤務。１１日夜から１２日未明にかけて同市内で飲食とカラオケをした。９人とも軽症という。（2020/10/17-21:29）

Tokyo Confirms 235 New Cases of Novel Coronavirus

The Tokyo metropolitan government said Saturday that 235 people have been newly confirmed as positive for the novel coronavirus in the Japanese capital.
   The daily count of new coronavirus cases in Tokyo exceeded 200 for the first time in two days.
   The newly infected people included 64 people in their 20s, 44 in their 30s and 36 in their 40s, as well as 33 aged 65 or older, according to the metropolitan government.
   The number of severely ill patients with COVID-19, caused by the coronavirus, in Tokyo decreased by two from the previous day to 23.
