保険適用「年末に工程」　不妊治療支援で菅首相

　政府は１５日、首相官邸で全世代型社会保障検討会議を開き、少子化対策を議論した。菅義偉首相は席上、自身が早期実現に意欲を見せている不妊治療の保険適用に向け「年末に工程を明らかにする」と表明した。保険適用までの間は、現行の助成を大幅に拡充する考えも示した。
　同会議の開催は６月以来で、菅政権発足後は初めて。今後、医療分野なども討議し、年末に最終報告を取りまとめる予定だ。
　首相は会合で「若い人たちが将来も安心できる全世代型社会保障制度を構築していく」と強調。待機児童解消のための受け皿拡充に向け、新たな計画を年内に策定することや、配偶者の出産直後に男性が育児休業を取得しやすくする制度導入を目指す意向を示した。
　会合では、政府側からの説明は行わず、委員による議論に大半の時間を割いた。委員からは、２０２２年度診療報酬改定を待たず不妊治療の保険適用を実現することや、待機児童対策のための財源確保を求める意見が出た。（2020/10/15-21:32）

Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga said Thursday his government will unveil a schedule for realizing public health insurance coverage for fertility treatment at the end of this year.
   He also said his government will drastically expand existing subsidies for fertility treatment until public insurance becomes available.
   The prime minister made the remarks at a meeting of the government's council on social welfare for all generations, which met for the first time since June.
   "We'll create a social welfare system for all generations so that young people can feel assured about their future," Suga said.
   He said that his government will compile a new program by the end of this year to reduce the number of children on nursery waiting lists.
