渋谷の中古ＣＤ店、２６年の歴史に幕　新型コロナで外国人客減響く

　東京・渋谷のセンター街奥に１９９４年から店舗を構えていた中古ＣＤ店「レコファン渋谷ＢＥＡＭ店」がこのほど、閉店した。ストリーミング（逐次再生）配信など音楽の聴き方が変わってきていることが理由ではなく、新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大で外国人客が来日できなくなったことが大きいという。
　店長の小野勝さん（５０）は「売り上げ全体の２～３割を占めていた外国からのお客さんが新型コロナで入国できなくなったのが響いた」と説明。人気ロックバンド「サザンオールスターズ」の桑田佳祐さんもお忍びで訪れていたといい、小野さんは「ラジオ番組でも（閉店に）触れていただいたようで、感謝しています。２５年勤めましたが、これを機に退社して１年ぐらいゆっくりしたい」と話した。
　同店オープン当初から２６年間通ってきたという横浜市の会社員佐多光晴さん（６９）は「仕事帰りに寄って、目当てのクラシックレコードを探し当てた時の喜びは格別だったのに」と残念がった。
　レコファンは１９８１年創業。東京・下北沢や池袋、吉祥寺のほか、横浜などにも店舗があったが、渋谷店の閉店で残すは秋葉原店のみとなった。今後は、ＪＲ武蔵小金井駅前に店舗を開くほか、インターネット販売を続けるという。（2020/10/14-13:32）

A used CD store in Tokyo's busy Shibuya district has drawn the curtain on its business, operated since 1994, as visitors from abroad disappeared amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.
   Masaru Ono, the 50-year-old manager of the RECOfan Shibuya BEAM store, attributed the store closure mainly to the epidemic, rather than the rise of music streaming services.
   According to Ono, sales to foreign customers accounted for 20-30 pct of the total sales at the store in Shibuya, a popular spot among young people.
   Keisuke Kuwata, lead vocalist of the popular Japanese rock band Southern All Stars, used to visit the store, Ono recalled.
   "I appreciate him for referring to (the store closure) in a radio program," Ono said. "I've worked for 25 years, and I want to take this opportunity to leave the company and have a rest for about a year."
