８月消費支出、６．９％減　お盆の帰省自粛響く

　総務省が９日発表した８月の家計調査によると、１世帯（２人以上）当たりの消費支出は２７万６３６０円となり、物価変動の影響を除いた実質で前年同月比６．９％減少した。マイナスは１１カ月連続。下げ幅は７月（７．６％減）から縮小したが、新型コロナウイルスの感染再拡大を背景に、お盆期間の帰省や旅行を控える動きが響いた。
　総務省は「７月に比べると支出が増えはしたが、新型コロナの影響はまだ続いている」と指摘、今後の動向を注視する姿勢を示した。（2020/10/09-11:43）

Japanese household spending in August dropped 6.9 pct from a year earlier in price-adjusted real terms due to the continued impact of the coronavirus, government data showed Friday.
   Household consumption expenditures fell for the 11th straight month, though the pace of decline slowed from 7.6 pct marked in July, the internal affairs ministry said.
   People continued to avoid travel during the summer holiday season. "Although spending increased from July, the virus' impact lingers," a ministry official said.
   In July, consumption expenditures per household with at least two members totaled 276,360 yen.
   Expenditures on package tours tumbled 87.3 pct and those on accommodation dropped 47.1 pct. Spending on train fares fell 79.0 pct and that on airfares nose-dived 95.9 pct.
