始発から計画運休＝新幹線、在来線で－台風１９号、空の便にも影響

　台風１９号が接近した１２日、首都圏や東海地方では始発から鉄道の計画運休が実施された。鉄道各社は同日午前から午後にかけ、運休する路線が拡大すると１１日に発表。航空各社も多数の旅客便の欠航を決めており、３連休の初日は交通機関の利用が大きく制限される事態となっている。
　東海道新幹線は東京－名古屋間で始発から終日運休。名古屋－新大阪間も運行するのは朝の時間帯の上下線計６本のみで、東西を結ぶ大動脈は事実上ストップする。山陽新幹線も新大阪－岡山間の運行は昼以降取りやめ。東北、上越、北陸の各新幹線も午後には順次運転を見合わせる。
　在来線では、東海道線熱海－豊橋間や御殿場線、名松線、久留里線などで始発から終日運休。正午ごろからは京浜東北線や総武線など、午後１時ごろからは山手線などが運転取りやめの対象となっている。

　１１日夜の段階で、全日本空輸は１２日の欠航が国内線、国際線合わせて計７１９便になると発表し、影響を受けるのは１１万４０００人以上と見込んだ。羽田、成田、静岡の各空港では国内線の全便が欠航となる。
　日本航空も１２日に国内線と国際線で計６３６便を欠航とし、影響は９万７０００人以上に上るとしている。
　成田空港は１２日午前１１時以降、交通機関の不通で利用者が足止めされないように、旅客機の着陸を禁止した。（2019/10/12-12:39）

Many train and flight services were or are set to be suspended in Japan, mainly in the Tokyo metropolitan area and the Tokai central region, on Saturday, the first day of a three-day weekend, as a very strong typhoon is seen making landfall in the nation later in the day.
   Central Japan Railway Co. , or JR Tokai, decided to halt services between Tokyo and Nagoya stations on the Tokaido Shinkansen bullet train line throughout the day. Services will be substantially scaled down between Nagoya and Shin-Osaka Station on the same Shinkansen line.
   West Japan Railway Co. , or JR West, will suspend services on the section between Shin-Osaka and Okayama Station on the Sanyo Shinkansen Line in the afternoon.
   The Tohoku, Joetsu and Hokuriku Shinkansen lines are set to be suspended also in the afternoon.
   Among non-Shinkansen lines, services were stopped from the day's first trains between Atami Station in Shizuoka Prefecture, central Japan, and Toyohashi Station in Aichi Prefecture, central Japan, on the Tokaido Main Line, as well as the Gotenba Line in Shizuoka, Meisho Line in the central prefecture of Mie and the Kururi Line in Chiba Prefecture, east of Tokyo. Train operations are set to be halted throughout the day on these lines.
