トヨタ、６年ぶり世界首位　販売台数、ＶＷ上回る―２０年上半期

　自動車大手の２０２０年上半期（１～６月）世界販売台数が３０日、出そろった。トヨタ自動車がグループ全体で４１６万台となり、独フォルクスワーゲン（ＶＷ）の３８９万台を上回って上半期として１４年以来６年ぶりに首位に立った。ただ、新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大で、各社とも販売台数の大幅減を余儀なくされた。
　トヨタ（ダイハツ工業、日野自動車を含む）は国内外とも販売が低迷し２１．６％減。４年ぶりに前年同期を割り込んだ。トヨタは「４月以降は当初想定を上回るペースで回復している」（広報）とみている。中国市場では、新型のスポーツ用多目的車（ＳＵＶ）「ワイルドランダー」などが健闘して２．２％減に踏みとどまり、２割弱減らしたＶＷに差をつけた。（2020/07/30-17:41）

The Toyota Motor Corp. group beat Germany's Volkswagen AG group to top global unit sales rankings for the first time in six years on a first-half basis, January-June data showed Thursday.
In the first six months of 2020, the Toyota group, including Daihatsu Motor Co. and Hino Motors Ltd. , saw its global sales drop 21.6 pct from a year earlier to 4.16 million units due to the coronavirus pandemic. But the Volkswagen group's sales remained at 3.89 million units, as it suffered a larger drop along with other automakers.
