収益減でも配当維持　地銀の８割、金融庁は疑問視

　地方銀行の約８割が２０２１年３月期の年間配当予想を維持することが１５日、分かった。低金利の長期化に加え、新型コロナウイルス流行で取引先の業績は悪化し、地銀の収益は急速に低下している。それでも株主還元を手厚くする姿勢について、金融庁は「（配当抑制で）余力を残し、地元企業を支援すべきではないか」（幹部）と疑問を呈している。
　時事通信が全国の地銀全８６社の決算を分析した。２１年３月期の配当見通しを公表した８２社のうち、約８割に当たる６３社が維持、４社が増配（記念配当を含む）を予定する。
　一方、全体の７割弱に当たる５６社が純利益の減少を見込むが、減配予想は１４社にとどまった。（2020/06/15-18:07）

80 Pct of Japan Regional Banks to Keep Annual Dividends Unchanged

Despite falling profitability amid the current low-interest environment, about 80 pct of regional banks across Japan expect to keep their dividends for the year through March 2021 unchanged from the previous year, a Jiji Press survey showed Monday.
In their latest earnings reports, 63 regional banks estimated their dividends for the current business year will be at the same levels as in the previous year, while four banks projected higher dividends and 14 forecast lower payouts.
