小池氏、再選出馬表明　東京版ＣＤＣ提唱―都知事選

　任期満了に伴う東京都知事選（１８日告示、７月５日投開票）で、小池百合子知事（６７）は１２日に記者会見を開き、再選を目指し無所属で立候補すると表明した。「政党推薦は求めず、都民の推挙を得るべく戦いに挑みたい」と強調。新型コロナウイルスの第２波に備えるため、選挙期間中は街頭演説などを控え、公務を優先する考えを示した。
　小池氏は公約として、米疾病対策センター（ＣＤＣ）の東京版を創設し、感染症対応を充実させると表明。ワクチンや治療薬の開発を後押しするほか、マスクや消毒液の備蓄、医療提供体制の整備に当たるという。詳しい公約は、来週改めて会見を開いて説明するとした。

　選挙活動については「街頭で『密』になるより、オンラインで『ウイズコロナ』『ポストコロナ』の選挙を展開する」と語った。
　１期目の４年間に関しては、情報公開や女性活躍の環境整備などに注力してきたと強調。再選されれば「これまで進めてきた『東京大改革』をさらに進める」として、経済再生や行財政改革に一層取り組むと決意を述べた。
　都知事選をめぐり、自民党は独自候補の擁立を断念。一方、立憲民主党や共産党、社民党は宇都宮健児元日弁連会長（７３）を支援、日本維新の会は小野泰輔元熊本県副知事（４６）を推薦する。ＮＨＫから国民を守る党の立花孝志党首（５２）も党公認での出馬を予定している。（2020/06/12-21:50）

Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike at a press conference Friday announced her intention to seek re-election in the gubernatorial poll in the Japanese capital July 5.
   In her election campaign, Koike, 67, is seen promising to make Tokyo well-prepared for a possible second wave of novel coronavirus infection and successfully hold the Tokyo Summer Olympics and Paralympics, which have been postponed by one year to 2021.
   Koike has no plans to ask for support from any political parties in the race. She will not make street speeches as she should continue concentrating on dealing with the epidemic as the head of the Tokyo metropolitan government.
   The country's ruling Liberal Democratic Party has given up on fielding its own candidate in the Tokyo gubernatorial election.
   The major opposition Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan, the Japanese Communist Party and the Social Democratic Party will support Kenji Utsunomiya, 73, former president of the Japan Federation of Bar Associations.
