ＰＣＲ検査、２時間で５０００件　タカラバイオ、新手法を開発

　タカラバイオの米子会社などが、新型コロナウイルス感染の有無を調べるＰＣＲ検査で、約２時間で最大５０００件を検査する手法を開発したことが９日、分かった。現行のＰＣＲ検査は約１００検体分の結果が分かるまでに通常２時間以上かかる。新手法によりＰＣＲ検査の迅速化が期待されている。
　タカラバイオＵＳＡと米医療関連企業のバイオシンタグマが共同で開発した。すでにバイオシンタグマが米食品医薬品局（ＦＤＡ）に検査法の緊急使用許可（ＥＵＡ）を申請した。月内にも承認される見通しで、早期に米国で提供を開始する予定。日本で展開する予定はないという。（2020/06/09-21:29）

Takara Bio Unit Develops Method for Large-Scale PCR Testing

A U.S. unit of Japan's Takara Bio Inc. and others have developed a method to conduct up to 5,000 polymerase chain reaction, or PCR, tests for detecting the novel coronavirus in about two hours.
With the current PCR testing method, it usually takes over two hours to bring results of some 100 samples.
