英語民間試験、５６１校が活用＝全国大学・短大の半数超－文科省調査

　２０２０年度から始まる大学入学共通テストで導入される英語の民間資格・検定試験をめぐり、文部科学省は４日、全国の大学と短大の計５６１校（５２．５％）が初年度に大学入試センターからの成績提供システムを利用し、一つ以上の学部などで民間試験を活用すると発表した。各大学の詳細な状況は７日に同省の特設サイトで公表する。
　民間試験の成績はセンターが集約・管理し、大学に提供するシステム。同省は９月末までに各大学などに利用予定を公表するよう要請していた。
　調査では、募集停止を除くすべての四年制大学と短大計１０６８校のうち、システムを使って民間試験を活用する四年制大学は、国立７７校、公立７１校、私立３３５校の４８３校となり、短大は７８校だった。（2019/10/04-12:59）

More than half of universities and junior colleges in Japan plan to use private-sector English tests to be introduced under a new standardized admission examination system in fiscal 2020, the education ministry said Friday.
   Starting in the year that begins next April, the new system will replace the current National Center Test for University Admission, jointly administered by the state-affiliated National Center for University Entrance Examination, or NCUEE, and universities.
   Under the new system, the results of such English tests will be collected, managed and handed over to universities by the NCUEE.
   According to the ministry, of the 1,068 four-year universities and junior colleges nationwide, excluding those not currently accepting new students, 561, or 52.5 pct, plan to use private-sector English tests in the first year of the new system.
   They are 77 national universities, 71 public universities, 335 private universities and 78 junior colleges.
