日産・ルノー連合、投資４割減　効率化で不振脱却へ

　日産自動車、フランス自動車大手ルノー、三菱自動車の３社連合は２７日、生産集約などを通じて車両開発に関連する投資額を最大４割削減すると発表した。２３００億円超に相当する。連合トップだったカルロス・ゴーン被告失脚後の混乱に加え、新型コロナウイルスの流行で事業環境の不透明感が増している。３社が連携を強めて経営不振から脱する姿勢を打ち出した。

　オンラインで記者会見したルノーのジャンドミニク・スナール会長は「効率と競争力を優先し、それぞれの資産を最大限引き出す」と強調。事業地域や技術分野などの役割分担を明確にし、効率化を加速するとした。（2020/05/27-20:17）

Nissan-Renault-Mitsubishi Alliance to Unify Production

The heads of Nissan Motor Co. , Renault SA and Mitsubishi Motors Corp. said Wednesday the three-way automotive alliance will promote unified production and other cost-cutting measures.
The announcement was made amid growing uncertainty over their business outlook due to the novel coronavirus pandemic and management confusion following the fall from power of former Nissan Chairman Carlos Ghosn, who had served as the head of the alliance.
