緊急事態、今夜全面解除　５都道県、専門家委が了承―政府

　政府は２５日午前、新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大を踏まえ東京など５都道県で続く緊急事態宣言について、月末の期限を待たず全面的に解除する方針を専門家でつくる基本的対処方針等諮問委員会に諮り、了承を得た。国会への事前報告を経て、同日夜の政府対策本部で正式決定する。安倍晋三首相は記者会見で、社会・経済活動の段階的な引き上げを呼び掛ける考えだ。

　西村康稔経済再生担当相は諮問委で「総合的に判断した結果、全ての都道府県で宣言を実施する必要がなくなったと認められる」と説明した。諮問委の尾身茂会長は、２４日の新規感染者が１４人だった東京、直近１週間の１０万人当たりの感染者が解除目安の０．５人を上回った神奈川と北海道について「引き続きよく調査・分析を行うように」と求めた。（2020/05/25-11:54）

The Japanese government Monday morning proposed completely lifting the state of emergency over the novel coronavirus epidemic before it expires Sunday.
   The proposal to remove the emergency for Tokyo and the neighboring prefectures of Kanagawa, Saitama and Chiba, as well as the northernmost prefecture of Hokkaido, was submitted to a government advisory panel, comprising infectious disease experts and economists, for approval.
   The government has already lifted the emergency in the 42 other prefectures.
   If approved by the panel, the cancellation of the emergency for the five prefectures will be made official at a government meeting later on Monday, a move to free the whole country from the emergency for the first time in about 50 days.
   For deciding whether to lift the emergency, the government has laid out a policy to look at the extent of infections, medical preparedness and the monitoring capacity.
