北京日本人学校、中３登校再開　戻れない生徒はオンライン授業―新型コロナ

　【北京時事】中国・北京市の日本人学校（小中併設）が１１日、約３カ月半ぶりに中学３年生の登校を再開した。新型コロナウイルスの影響で日中間の往来が困難になり、中３の在校生徒１５人のうち登校できたのは北京にいる９人だけ。日本から戻れない残りの生徒や、小学１年から中学２年生まではオンライン授業を受けている。
　登校した生徒は校門前で１メートルの間隔を置いて並び、体温をチェック。一番乗りの寺師麻結さん（１４）は「友達と話すのを楽しみにしていた」と笑顔を見せ、「早く北京にみんなが戻って来て、みんなで授業を受けたい」と仲間を気遣った。
　小中合わせた在校児童・生徒数は１月下旬の春節（旧正月）前に比べ１１２人減の２３０人。その約半数が日本から戻っていない。着任予定だった教師８人も日本で足止めされている。
　北京の教室には、オンライン授業撮影役の教師も配置。科目によっては、日本で行う授業を北京の教室のモニターで中継する。栗本和明校長は「きょう来た子と日本にいる子の両方を考え、いかに質の高い教育を提供するかが課題だ」と話した。
　同校は感染防止のため、北京市当局の指示に沿って防護服やゴーグルなどを購入。階段は一方通行にするなどの防疫措置を取った。
　北京市では１１日、一般の中学校も今夏の受験や卒業を控えた３年生だけ登校再開を認めている。（2020/05/12-07:12）

Junior high school third-graders at a Japanese school in Beijing were back in school on Monday after a school closure of about three and a half months due to the new coronavirus pandemic.
   On the day, nine of the 15 third-grade students showed up at the school, with the other six unable to return to China from Japan due to the virus crisis.
   The six students, as well as first- to sixth-grade elementary school students and first- and second-grade junior high school students, have been taking classes online.
   On Monday morning, students lined up in front of the school gate for temperature checks, while keeping distances of at least one meter from each other.
   Mayu Terashi, 14, who arrived at the school first showed a smile, saying, "I've been looking forward to talking with my friends."
