３月の消費支出、６．０％減　コロナで５年ぶり落ち込み幅

　総務省が８日発表した３月の家計調査によると、１世帯（２人以上）当たりの消費支出は２９万２２１４円となり、物価変動の影響を除いた実質で前年同月比６．０％減少した。新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大で外出が控えられたことが影響し、下落幅は２０１５年３月（１０．６％減）以来、５年ぶりの大きさとなった。
　マイナスは６カ月連続となった。中でも、教養娯楽関係の支出が落ち込み、遊園地の入場料や乗り物代が８６．８％減、パック旅行費は８３．２％減となった。航空運賃は８割超、鉄道運賃は６５．２％それぞれ縮小した。
　一方、マスクを含む保健用消耗品は１７．８％増加した。自宅で過ごす時間が増えたことで「巣ごもり需要」が膨らみ、ゲーム機が約２．７倍となったほか、パスタや即席麺も大幅に伸びた。（2020/05/08-11:15）

Japanese household spending in March fell 6.0 pct from a year earlier in price-adjusted real terms, the biggest drop in five years, amid the coronavirus crisis, the government said Friday.
   Consumption expenditures per household with at least two members came to 292,214 yen, down for the sixth straight month, the internal affairs ministry said.
   The fall was biggest since March 2015, when household spending fell 10.6 pct. The latest result reflected voluntary restrictions on going out amid the spread of the new coronavirus.
   Culture and entertainment expenditures suffered notable falls. Spending on amusement park entrance and attraction fees skidded 86.8 pct, and package tours recorded a drop of 83.2 pct.
   Air and railway travel costs shrank 84.7 pct and 65.2 pct, respectively.
