長崎クルーズ乗員、新たに１４人感染　新型コロナ

　長崎県は２３日、長崎市に停泊中のイタリア籍クルーズ船「コスタ・アトランチカ」で、新たに乗員１４人の新型コロナウイルス感染が確認されたと発表した。同船の感染者は計４８人となった。
　県は２２日、船内の運営に携わる「エッセンシャルクルー」のうち６６人の検体を採取。検査の結果、食事の調理や運搬を担う１４人が陽性となった。
　同船に乗客はいないが、日本人通訳１人を含む乗員６２３人が乗っていた。感染した乗員のうち１人は重症で、市内の感染症指定医療機関に搬送された。その他の感染者は船内で個室待機している。
　県によると、３月中旬に船会社に乗員の下船自粛を要請したが、県交通局は同２６、２７両日、帰国する乗員を乗せた貸し切りバスを運行し、市内のホテルを経由して長崎空港まで輸送していた。同局の担当者は「自粛要請は知っていたが、乗員が別の手段で移動することを避けるため、独自の判断で運行した」と説明している。（2020/04/23-18:24）

An additional 14 crew members on an Italian cruise ship docked in the city of Nagasaki, southwestern Japan, have tested positive for the new coronavirus, the Nagasaki prefectural government said Thursday.
   The new coronavirus cases brought the total number of infections on the Costa Atlantica cruise ship to 48.
   The prefectural government collected virus test samples from 66 "essential crew" members on Wednesday.
   The tests showed infections for the 14 members tasked with cooking and carrying meals.
   The cruise ship has 623 crew members, including a Japanese interpreter, on board. It has no passengers at present.
