パレスチナ職員が被災地で研修　復興の経験学ぶ―福島県浪江町

　パレスチナ解放機構（ＰＬＯ）で自治区ヨルダン川西岸の難民問題を担当する職員らが２２日、東京電力福島第１原発事故で一時全町避難した福島県浪江町で研修を行った。復興の経験をパレスチナ難民の支援に生かすことが目的。ヨルダン川西岸の難民キャンプ運営に技術協力する国際協力機構（ＪＩＣＡ）が招いた。
　研修は２０１８年以来２度目。バスで町内を視察して回ったほか、原発事故以降の地域づくりの事例を基に、町の関係者と意見交換した。前日には宮城県東松島市も訪問し、がれき処理や災害備蓄など緊急時の対応を学んだ。
　研修は昨年予定されていたが、パレスチナ自治区ガザを巡る情勢悪化を理由に延期された。ヨルダン川西岸もイスラエル軍の限定的攻撃を受ける中、浪江町内を見てパレスチナの状況を思い起こさせられたという研修メンバー代表の男性は「災害と戦争は異なるが、避難民が生まれる点は同じだ。学んだことをパレスチナの復興に生かしたい」と語った。（2024/10/22-20:31）

Palestine Liberation Organization officials in charge of refugee affairs in the West Bank joined a training session on responding to disasters Tuesday in Namie, Fukushima Prefecture, northeastern Japan, near the crippled nuclear power plant.
   The training is aimed at helping the PLO officials acquire expertise on reconstruction from disasters to support Palestinian refugees.
   The PLO officials were invited to attend the training by the Japan International Cooperation Agency, which provides technical cooperation for the operation of refugee camps in the West Bank.
   They toured Namie by bus and held talks with town officials on community development after the 2011 nuclear accident.
   On Monday, they visited Higashimatsushima in neighboring Miyagi Prefecture and learned about debris disposal and disaster stockpiling.
