電気・ガス代、大幅上昇　基調的物価、勢い弱く―７月都区部

　総務省が２６日発表した７月の東京都区部消費者物価指数（中旬速報値、２０２０年＝１００）は、価格変動の大きい生鮮食品を除く総合指数が１０７．４と、前年同月比２．２％上昇した。政府の負担軽減策がいったんゼロになったことで、電気代や都市ガス代が大幅に上昇した。ただ、生鮮食品とエネルギーを除いた基調的な物価上昇の勢いは弱くなっている。
　電気代の上昇率は１９．７％（前月１０．８％）と１年６カ月ぶりの高い伸び。都市ガス代も１１．９％（同３．８％）に高まった。政府の負担軽減策が５月使用分（６月請求分）までで終了した影響が出た。ただ、政府は８月使用分から３カ月間補助を再開するため、一時的に指数の低下要因になりそうだ。
　一方、生鮮食品を除く食料は２．６％上昇で、昨夏以降プラス幅は低下基調だ。生鮮食品とエネルギーを除く総合指数は１．５％上昇と２２年８月（１．４％）以来の低い伸びにとどまる。１％台は４カ月連続となった。（2024/07/26-17:13）

Tokyo Core Consumer Prices Rise 2.2 Pct in July

Core consumer prices in central Tokyo rose 2.2 pct in July from a year before, climbing for the 35th consecutive month, Japan's internal affairs ministry said Friday.
   The core consumer price index, which excludes volatile fresh food prices, stood at 107.4 for Tokyo's 23 densely populated special wards, against the 2020 base of 100.
   Electricity and city gas bills surged 19.7 pct and 11.9 pct, respectively, following the end of government subsidies aimed at reducing the burden on consumers.
   Prices of food, excluding fresh food, were up 2.6 pct.
   The overall CPI, including fresh food prices, rose 2.2 pct, while the narrower CPI, excluding fresh food and energy prices, climbed 1.5 pct.
