「めぐみさん娘の往来を」　韓国人拉致家族会代表

　【ソウル時事】韓国の拉致被害者家族でつくる「拉北者家族会」の崔成竜代表（７２）は６日までに、時事通信のインタビューに応じた。日本人拉致問題の関連情報にも通じる崔氏は、横田めぐみさん＝拉致当時（１３）＝の娘のキム・ウンギョンさんの自由な往来を北朝鮮が認めれば、日本との交渉が進展する可能性があると訴えた。
　崔氏は「日本が最近、ウンギョンさんの自由な往来を北朝鮮に求めたと、複数の消息筋から聞いた」と主張。「拉致問題は解決済み」という立場を崩さない北朝鮮を「不誠実だ」と批判しつつ、「北朝鮮が（自国内での）生存を認めている人（被害者やその家族）は、ウンギョンさんだけだ」と指摘し、事態打開の糸口になり得るとの見方を示した。
　ウンギョンさんは２０１４年に、めぐみさんの両親とモンゴルで面会している。崔氏は「この次はウンギョンさんが自由に行き来して、めぐみさんの母、早紀江さんと会えるようになればいい」と期待した。
　韓国の尹錫悦政権は日米と連携して、韓国人拉致問題の解決を目指している。尹氏は、大統領として初めて崔氏ら被害者家族と懇談し、統一省に専門チームを新設。金暎浩統一相は演説で、北朝鮮に謝罪を要求した。崔氏は尹政権の一連の対応について「初めてのことで、すごい決定をしたと思う。被害者の家族として、とても高く評価する」と語る。
　韓国人の拉致被害者は５００人超とされ、崔氏の父親もその一人だ。崔氏は、北朝鮮によって１９６８～８７年に拉致され、平壌に抑留された韓国人の学生や漁師ら２１人の名簿が手元にあると説明。韓国政府が所蔵する拉致関連資料の全面公開を求めるとともに、「被害者の家族が元気なうちに会わせてほしい」と強調した。（2024/07/06-13:30）

Negotiations between Japan and North Korea may make progress if the North allows Kim Eun Gyong, the daughter of Japanese abductee Megumi Yokota, to travel freely, the head of a group of families of South Koreans abducted to the North said in a recent interview with Jiji Press.
   Citing several informed sources, Choi Sung-ryong, 72, said that Japan has recently asked North Korea to allow her to travel freely.
   As Eun Gyong is the only one among the abductees and their relatives whom North Korea has confirmed to be alive in the reclusive country, Choi said that her being allowed to travel freely may break the current stalemate.
   Choi criticized North Korea as dishonest for maintaining the position that the abduction issue has already been resolved.
   In 2014, Eun Gyong met her mother's parents in Mongolia. Choi said he hopes she will be able to travel freely to reunite with the grandmother, Sakie Yokota. The grandfather has died.
