「紅麹」死亡疑い、８４人に　厚労省

　小林製薬の「紅麹（べにこうじ）」配合サプリメントを巡る健康被害問題で、厚生労働省は５日、サプリとの因果関係を調査している死者が８４人になったと公表した。３日時点では８１人だった。
　同省によると、同社には４日時点で２１５人の死者について相談があった。１２８人はサプリを服用しておらず、３人はサプリ摂取と死亡との間に因果関係はないと医師が判断している。（2024/07/05-22:42）

Suspected Fatal Cases Rise to 81 for "Beni Koji" Supplements

The number of fatal cases under investigation over possible links to Kobayashi Pharmaceutical Co.'s supplements containing "beni koji" red fermented rice has reached 81, Japan's health ministry said Friday.
   The figure rose by five from Sunday.
   According to the ministry, Kobayashi Pharmaceutical had received requests for consultations over 198 fatal cases as of Wednesday.
   Of the 198, 114 were found not to have taken any of the supplements, while three others were judged by doctors to have died of causes not related to the supplements.
