８０代の乗客男性死亡　クルーズ船で４人目―新型肺炎

　厚生労働省は２５日、新型コロナウイルスの集団感染が発生したクルーズ船「ダイヤモンド・プリンセス」の日本人乗客で東京都の８０代男性が同日、死亡したと発表した。新型ウイルスに感染しており、死因は肺炎だった。同船での死者は４人目。
　厚労省によると、男性には糖尿病の基礎疾患があり、９日に医療機関に搬送された。画像診断で肺炎が認められ、１０日に感染が判明。人工呼吸器を付けて治療を続けていた。
　同船をめぐっては、新型ウイルスに感染した日本人乗客の８０代の男女２人が２０日に死亡。２３日には８０代の日本人男性が死亡した。厚労省は２５日、この男性は乗客で、ウイルスに感染していたと公表した。
　また、検査で陰性を確認後に下船した乗客９８３人のうち、２８人が発熱などの症状を訴えていることも明らかにした。７人が医療機関受診が適当と判断された。うち１人は２２日に陽性が判明した栃木県の６０代女性で、３人は検査で陰性が確認された。同省は残り３人に受診を求めている。（2020/02/25-22:16）

A person aged between 80 and 89 who had been aboard the Diamond Princess, a cruise ship hit by an outbreak of the new coronavirus, has died, informed sources said Tuesday.
   This was the fourth death among those who were on the British-flagged ship, which has been quarantined for the virus at the port of Yokohama in Kanagawa Prefecture, eastern Japan.
   The person got off the ship after feeling unwell and had since been hospitalized, according to the sources. The person died on Tuesday, the sources said.
   On Thursday, two Japanese passengers of the ship, a man and a woman, both in their 80s, died after being infected with the COVID-19 virus.
   A Japanese man in his 80s who was aboard the ship died on Sunday. But the health ministry has not revealed details, including whether he had been infected with the coronavirus, as his family has not approved the disclosure.
