４月の貿易赤字、４６２５億円　原油高・円安で輸入増―財務省

　財務省が２２日発表した４月の貿易統計速報（通関ベース）によると、輸出額から輸入額を差し引いた貿易収支は４６２５億円の赤字だった。原油価格の上昇や円安などを背景に輸入が４月として過去最大になったことが主な要因で、赤字は２カ月ぶり。
　輸入は前年同月比８．３％増の９兆４４３３億円と、２カ月ぶりに増加した。価格上昇で原油が１３．１％増えたほか、液化天然ガス（ＬＮＧ）も１２．５％のプラス。航空機は約４倍と大幅に増えた。対ドルの円相場が前年同月より２０円程度円安に振れたことも、輸入額の増加につながった。
　輸出も８．３％増の８兆９８０７億円で、４月として過去最高。米国向けのハイブリッド車を中心に自動車が１７．８％増加した。半導体製造装置は中国向けが好調で、２８．２％増。台湾向け電子部品の輸出も伸びた。
　国別の貿易収支は、対米国が６８８５億円の黒字で、黒字幅は１５カ月ぶりに前年同月から縮小した。対中国は５２７０億円の赤字だった。（2024/05/22-12:02）

Japan Swings to Trade Deficit in April

Japan swung to a customs-cleared trade deficit of 462.5 billion yen in April due to higher crude oil prices and a weak yen, the Finance Ministry said in a preliminary report Wednesday.
   The country posted a trade surplus of 387 billion yen in March.
   In April, imports rose 8.3 pct from a year before to 9,443.3 billion yen, their highest level for the month. Crude oil imports grew 13.1 pct, and aircraft imports quadrupled.
   Exports climbed 8.3 pct to 8,980.7 billion yen, led by automobile shipments to the United States.
   In trade with the United States, Japan's surplus fell 13.2 pct to 688.5 billion yen. Its trade deficit with mainland China grew 14.6 pct to 527 billion yen.
