経常黒字、過去最大２５兆円　貿易赤字縮小、旅行収支も最高―２３年度

　財務省が１０日発表した２０２３年度の国際収支速報によると、海外とのモノやサービスの取引、投資収益の状況を示す経常収支は、２５兆３３９０億円と過去最大の黒字となった。貿易収支の赤字幅縮小が主因で、黒字額は比較可能な１９８５年度以降で最高だった０７年度の２４兆３３７６億円を上回った。
　経常黒字額は前年度と比べ２．８倍となった。訪日客の増加で旅行収支の黒字額が最高だったことも寄与した。
　輸出は、半導体の供給制約が緩和した自動車が好調で２．１％増の１０１兆８６６６億円。輸入は、石炭や液化天然ガス（ＬＮＧ）、原油の価格高騰が一服した影響で１０．３％減の１０５兆４３９１億円だった。輸出から輸入を引いた貿易収支は３兆５７２５億円の赤字で、前年度と比べ赤字幅が８割縮小した。
　輸送や旅行などのサービス収支は、２兆４５０４億円の赤字。訪日客数が前年度比３．４倍に増え、旅行収支は４兆２２９５億円と、過去最大だったコロナ禍前の１９年度を上回った。一方、ネット広告などのサービスの取引を示すデジタル関連収支は５兆５７１４億円のマイナスと、最大の赤字幅を更新した。（2024/05/10-12:14）

Japan's Current Account Surplus Hits Record 25 T. Yen in Fiscal 2023

Japan's current account surplus in fiscal 2023 soared 2.8-fold from the previous year to hit a record high of 25,339 billion yen, mainly thanks to a smaller trade deficit, the Finance Ministry said in a preliminary report Friday.
   In the year that ended in March 2024, the country's goods trade deficit shrank to 3,572.5 billion yen from the previous year's 17,786.9 billion yen. Exports rose 2.1 pct to 101,866.6 billion yen, while imports fell 10.3 pct to 105,439.1 billion yen.
   The surplus in the primary income balance, which reflects dividend and interest flows, inched up 0.6 pct to 35,531.2 billion yen.
   In March alone, Japan's current account surplus climbed 44 pct from a year before to 3,398.8 billion yen.
