実質賃金減少、過去最長に　２４カ月連続、２．５％減―３月

　厚生労働省が９日発表した３月の毎月勤労統計調査（速報、従業員５人以上）によると、現金給与総額（名目賃金）に物価の変動を反映させた実質賃金は、前年同月比２．５％減少した。物価の上昇に賃金が追い付いていないため。減少は２４カ月連続で、比較可能な１９９１年以降で過去最長となった。
　基本給と残業代などを合わせた名目賃金は、労働者１人当たり平均で０．６％増の３０万１１９３円だった。このうち基本給が中心の「所定内給与」は１．７％増で、残業代などの「所定外給与」は１．５％減だった。
　実質賃金の算出に使う消費者物価指数（持ち家の帰属家賃を除く総合）の上昇率は３．１％と前月から小幅に縮小した。
　就業形態別の名目賃金は、正社員ら一般労働者が０．８％増の３８万６７９５円。パートタイム労働者は２．５％増の１０万８０３６円だった。
　１人平均の総実労働時間は２．７％減の１３６．２時間だった。このうち所定内労働時間は２．６％、所定外は３．７％、それぞれ減少した。（2024/05/09-09:17）

Japan's Real Wages Down 2.5 Pct in March

Japan's inflation-adjusted real wage index in March dropped 2.5 pct from a year before, marking a decline for the 24th consecutive month, the labor ministry said in a preliminary report Thursday.
   The decline came as wage hikes failed to catch up with the pace of inflation. It is the longest streak of successive falls since comparable data became available in 1991.
   Monthly nominal wages per worker increased 0.6 pct to 301,193 yen on average.
   Regular pay, which includes basic salary, rose 1.7 pct, and nonregular pay such as overtime fell 1.5 pct.
   The consumer price index excluding imputed rent, which is used for real wage index calculation, went up 3.1 pct. The growth rate slightly shrank from the previous month.
