石炭発電、輸出抑制へ　要件見直しで協議―小泉環境相

　小泉進次郎環境相は２５日、臨時記者会見を開き、石炭火力発電のインフラ輸出の抑制に向け、関係省庁と協議することで合意したと発表した。政府が定めている輸出の要件を見直し、厳格化する方向。経済産業、外務、財務各省、内閣官房と議論し、６月にまとめる政府の改訂インフラシステム輸出戦略の骨子に結論を盛り込む。
　小泉氏は合意について「脱炭素化に向けて新たな一歩を踏み出した」と述べた。環境省は今後、省内に有識者会議を設置。輸出要件の在り方に関する具体策を議論し、その内容を関係省庁との協議や同戦略の改訂作業などに反映させる。（2020/02/25-18:03）

Japanese Environment Minister Shinjiro Koizumi said Tuesday he has agreed with other government agencies, including the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, to start discussions about the country's coal-fired power plant exports.
   The minister aims to review export conditions set by the government for such plants and introduce tighter regulations.
   The outcome of the discussion is expected to be included in the outline of the revised export strategy for infrastructure systems, set to be drawn up in June.
   "We've marked a first step toward decarbonization," Koizumi said.
   Many foreign countries have started ending coal-fired power generation because the method emits a high level of carbon dioxide, even when using technology that is said to be highly efficient.
