実質ＧＤＰ、２期連続マイナス　２３年、独に抜かれ世界４位転落―昨年１０～１２月期

　内閣府が１５日発表した２０２３年１０～１２月期の国内総生産（ＧＤＰ、季節調整済み）速報値は、物価変動の影響を除いた実質で前期比０．１％減、この成長が１年続いた場合の年率換算で０．４％減だった。マイナス成長は２四半期連続。２３年通年では名目ＧＤＰの実額がドイツに抜かれ世界３位から４位に転落した。「デフレからの完全脱却」に向け、日本経済は正念場を迎えている。
　２３年１０～１２月期の実質ＧＤＰは、成長のカギを握る内需が軒並み落ち込んだ。過半を占める個人消費が前期比０．２％減、設備投資は０．１％減と、いずれも３期連続のマイナス。訪日外国人客の消費などで輸出は２．６％増となったが、力不足は否めず、コロナ禍からの需要回復にブレーキがかかった。
　歴史的な物価高を受け、岸田政権は「デフレ脱却宣言」のタイミングを探っている。日銀も４月までに大規模金融緩和策の修正に動くとの観測が広がっているが、今回のマイナス成長は景気回復期待に水を差した形だ。新藤義孝経済財政担当相は今年の春闘で「昨年を上回る賃上げ」を実現し、内需を喚起すべきだと強調した。（2024/02/15-18:13）

Japan's gross domestic product in October-December 2023 declined 0.1 pct from the previous three-month period in price-adjusted real terms, down for the second consecutive quarter, the Cabinet Office said in a preliminary report Thursday.
   The reading represents an annualized rate of a 0.4 pct decline.
   For the whole of 2023, the country's GDP expanded 1.9 pct from the previous year in real terms and grew 5.7 pct in nominal terms.
   Japan's dollar-denominated nominal GDP last year, however, stood at 4,210.6 billion dollars, falling behind Germany's 4,456.1 billion dollars. Japan thus slipped to the world's fourth largest economy from third.
