対中国、緊密に連携　日米首脳が会談―岸田首相へ国賓訪米招請

　【サンフランシスコ時事】岸田文雄首相は１６日午後（日本時間１７日午前）、米国のバイデン大統領と訪問先のサンフランシスコで会談した。１５日の米中首脳会談の結果を踏まえ、中国を巡る諸問題への対処に当たり引き続き緊密に連携していくことで一致。中国とも共有する課題については協力していくことの重要性を確認した。
　会談後、首相は記者団に、バイデン氏から来年の早い時期の訪米招請を受けたと明らかにした。米側は国賓待遇の方針という。
　首相は会談で、「中東、ウクライナ、中国や北朝鮮を含むインド太平洋地域の諸課題もあり、日米の連携はこれまで以上に必要だ」と指摘。バイデン氏は「日米同盟の重要性はこれまでになく高まっており、連携を一層強化していきたい」と語った。
　両首脳は、イスラム組織ハマスによるテロ攻撃を非難し、パレスチナ自治区ガザの人道状況の改善と「２国家解決」の実現に向けて歩調を合わせていくことでも一致。ロシアのウクライナ侵攻に関し、対ロ制裁とウクライナ支援を継続することを申し合わせた。（2023/11/17-13:25）

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and U.S. President Joe Biden on Thursday agreed to work closely together to tackle issues involving China, following Biden's meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping the previous day.
   The Japanese and U.S. leaders also affirmed the importance of cooperating with China over common issues.
   Kishida told reporters after the meeting in San Francisco that he was invited by Biden to visit the United States as a state guest at an early date next year.
   At their meeting, Kishida told Biden that Japan-U.S. cooperation has become more important than ever to address a range of issues in the Middle East, Ukraine and the Indo-Pacific region, which includes China and North Korea.
   Biden said that he aims to further strengthen cooperation with Japan.
