カジノ誘致、反対６２％　時事世論調査

　時事通信の２月の世論調査で、カジノを含む統合型リゾート（ＩＲ）の国内誘致について聞いたところ、「反対」が６２．４％で、「賛成」の２２．８％を大きく上回った。
　ＩＲ事業をめぐる汚職事件では、衆院議員秋元司被告（自民党離党）が起訴された。政府はＩＲ推進の方針を堅持するが、国民の間で慎重意見が根強いことが改めて浮き彫りとなった。
　国内誘致については、自民党支持層に限っても、「反対」が５３．２％となり、「賛成」の３２．７％を上回った。
　一方、「賛成」と答えた人に対し、住んでいる市町村や生活圏内にＩＲができることへの賛否を尋ねたところ、「賛成」６４．５％、「反対」２４．７％だった。
　調査は６～９日に全国の１８歳以上の男女２０００人を対象に個別面接方式で実施。有効回収率は６１．１％。（2020/02/14-17:04）

In a recent Jiji Press survey, 62.4 pct of respondents voiced opposition to the government's plan to introduce casino-featuring integrated resorts, or IRs, in Japan.
   The proportion far exceeded the share of respondents supporting the plan, which stood at 22.8 pct.
   The result highlights ongoing public caution about the plan, even though the government is determined to continue promoting the introduction.
   Late last year, House of Representatives lawmaker Tsukasa Akimoto was arrested in a bribery case related to an IR plan. Akimoto, who left the ruling Liberal Democratic Party following his arrest, has since been indicted.
   Of LDP supporters, those opposing the introduction of IRs came to 53.2 pct, while 32.7 pct said they support the plan.
