８月の鉱工業生産、横ばい　自動車の工場停止が影響―経産省

　経済産業省が２９日発表した８月の鉱工業生産指数速報値（２０２０年＝１００、季節調整済み）は１０３．８と、前月から横ばいだった。自動車工場の稼働停止の影響が出た一方、石油・石炭製品などが好調だった。生産の基調判断は「一進一退」に据え置いた。
　８月の生産は１５業種のうち、１０業種が低下した。自動車工業は台風や一部企業のシステム障害で工場の稼働が停止し、前月比３．９％のマイナス。鉄鋼・非鉄金属工業は、自動車や建築向けの鉄鋼生産が落ち込み、１．９％低下した。（2023/09/29-10:53）

Japan's industrial production index was unchanged in August from the previous month as oil and coal output was upbeat while automobile production shrank reflecting plant suspensions, the industry ministry said in a preliminary report Friday.
   The seasonally adjusted production index for the manufacturing and mining sectors stood at 103.8 against the 2020 base of 100. The ministry kept its basic assessment unchanged, saying that industrial production is fluctuating "indecisively."
   Production decreased in 10 of the 15 surveyed industries. The automobile sector logged a 3.9 pct decline due to plant suspensions caused by a typhoon as well as a system failure at an automaker.
   The steel and nonferrous metal sector suffered a drop of 1.9 pct as production of steel for automobiles and buildings slumped.
   On the other hand, output of oil and coal products increased 5.5 pct thanks to the completion of gasoline and kerosene plant repair work.
