自民安倍系、「植田日銀」けん制　大規模緩和の修正警戒

　自民党の安倍晋三元首相に近かった幹部らから、日銀の植田和男総裁下の金融政策をけん制する声が上がった。７月２８日に決定した長期金利上限の運用柔軟化が、大規模金融緩和を進めたアベノミクスの修正につながるとみるためだ。政治的圧力が強まれば、日銀の「独立性」を妨げることにもなりかねない。
　「緩和姿勢を変えないコミットメント（約束）が守られていくか注視したい」。自民の世耕弘成参院幹事長は１日の記者会見でこう強調。先月３１日の講演でも「緩和からいよいよ離脱を始めるメッセージが出た。『植田日銀』に目を光らせなければいけない」と、長期金利の上昇を１％まで認めるとした２８日の金融政策決定会合に露骨な不満を表明した。
　円安と物価上振れを受けて大規模緩和路線への批判も高まる中、今年就任した植田総裁に対しては「金融引き締めに向かうのではないか」（自民若手）と警戒する向きが当初からあった。中心になったのは世耕氏ら安倍派所属議員。岸田政権下で影響力を保ちたいとの思惑も見え隠れした。
　今回の政策修正について、安倍氏に近かった若手有志らによる「責任ある積極財政を推進する議員連盟」メンバーは、「方向性を変えるようなメッセージは良くない」「心配だ。気を付けて見ていく」とくぎを刺す。安倍内閣の閣僚経験者は「これが限度だ。ここまでは許すが、越えればアベノミクスの変更になる」と、金融政策での「レッドライン」を引いてみせた。
　一方で、中央銀行の金融政策は独立性の担保が大原則。日銀に対する世耕氏らの圧力に関し、自民ベテランは「不適切発言だ」と批判。ある中堅は「党内で広がりはない。安倍氏とどれだけ近かったか示したいのだろう」と冷ややかに語った。（2023/08/02-07:07）

Senior officials of Japan's ruling Liberal Democratic Party who were close to the late former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe have warned against the Bank of Japan's monetary policy under Governor Kazuo Ueda.
   The officials believe the Japanese central bank's decision Friday to operate its yield curve control more flexibly will lead to a revision to Abe's Abenomics pro-growth economic policy, which featured the promotion of large-scale monetary easing by the BOJ.
   There is concern, however, that ramped-up political pressures may damage the independence of the central bank.
   "It should be closely watched whether the BOJ will remain committed to keeping its easing stance intact," Hiroshige Seko, LDP secretary-general in the House of Councillors, the upper chamber of parliament, told a news conference on Tuesday.
   In a speech on Monday, Seko bluntly expressed dissatisfaction with the BOJ's decision at a two-day Policy Board meeting through Friday to allow 10-year Japanese government bond yields to rise to an effective ceiling of 1.0 pct.
