新型肺炎、４人目確認　中国武漢市から来日の男性―厚労省

　新型コロナウイルスによる肺炎患者が相次いでいる問題で、厚生労働省は２６日、中国・武漢市から来日していた４０代男性の感染を確認したと発表した。日本国内での感染確認は４人目。男性は入院しているが、容体は安定しているという。
　同省によると、男性は団体旅行で家族２人と２２日に来日。２３日に発熱し、２４日夜に関節痛が生じたため宿泊先の愛知県で医療機関を受診した。肺炎の症状があったため入院し、２６日午後に新型コロナウイルスの感染が確認された。
　男性は来日後、家族を含む計２８人で愛知県周辺をバスで観光していた。男性はツアー中、常にマスクを着用していたという。厚労省は、家族やツアー客、添乗員らについて、現時点で感染は確認されていないとしている。
　男性は中国で肺炎患者と接触しておらず、感染源との関連が指摘される武漢市内の海鮮市場には行っていないと話している。（2020/01/26-22:34）

Japan Confirms 4th Case of New Coronavirus

Japan's health ministry said Sunday that it has confirmed the fourth case of pneumonia caused by a new type of coronavirus from China.
   The patient is a man in his 40s from the inland China city of Wuhan, the epicenter of the new virus, the ministry said.
   The man arrived in Japan on Wednesday and developed a fever on Thursday.
   His infection was confirmed on Sunday afternoon after he visited a medical institution in Aichi Prefecture, central Japan, for treatment, according to the ministry.
