自衛隊施設整備に建設国債　防衛財源確保へ方針転換―政府

　政府が防衛力の抜本強化に向けた財源確保のため、自衛隊施設整備の一部に、「建設国債」を活用する方向で検討していることが１３日、分かった。２０２７年度までに１．６兆円程度を充てる。建設国債は道路や橋、港湾整備など公共事業費に使われ、防衛費には充当してこなかった。防衛予算の編成に当たっての大きな方針転換となる。（2022/12/13-19:41）

The Japanese government is considering the use of construction bonds to partially pay for the development of Self-Defense Forces facilities, it was learned Tuesday.
   The move is part of efforts to secure funding for the drastic reinforcement of the country's defense capabilities.
   Construction bonds have been used for public works projects such as road, bridge and port construction, and have previously not been used for defense expenditures, due to the short operation life of defense-related facilities.
   The government has told the ruling Liberal Democratic Party and its coalition partner, Komeito, that it is considering the use of construction bonds, according to informed sources.
   The government is planning to use such bonds to cover around 1.6 trillion yen of SDF facility development costs by fiscal 2027.
