３地域で景気判断下げ　東海など、海外減速響く―日銀

　日銀は１５日開いた冬の支店長会議で、全国９地域の景気動向を分析した地域経済報告（さくらリポート）をまとめ、北陸、東海、中国の３地域で景気の総括判断を引き下げた。米中貿易摩擦の長期化を背景として海外経済が減速し、生産や輸出が落ち込んだことが響いた。他の６地域では判断を据え置いた。
　製造業が集積する東海は、表現を「拡大」から「緩やかに拡大」に修正。記者会見した清水季子名古屋支店長は背景について、「海外経済の持ち直しが後ずれした」などと説明した。

　北陸と中国でも景気拡大のペースの鈍化を示す文言を盛り込んだ。東北は判断を引き下げなかったが、「一部に弱めの動き」との表現を「弱めの動きが広がっている」に改めた。項目別では、６地域で生産の判断を引き下げた。
　一方、個人消費は昨年１０月の消費税増税に伴う駆け込み需要と反動減があったものの、回復基調は変わらないとして全地域で判断を維持。山田泰弘大阪支店長は「堅調な個人消費が戻っている」と指摘した。
　地方からは「今のところ消費者マインドの悪化はさほど感じられない」（高知県の商業施設）との声が聞かれた。ただ、消費税増税後の景気対策であるポイント還元制度が６月末に終わることなどを踏まえ、「客離れにつながる可能性もあり、先行きは楽観できない」（福岡県のスーパー）と懸念する向きもあった。（2020/01/15-19:01）

The Bank of Japan lowered its economic assessments for three of the country's nine regions in a quarterly report Wednesday, as production and exports fell on an overseas economic slowdown.
   In the report, adopted at a meeting of the BOJ's local branch heads, the central bank downgraded its views on the Hokuriku and Tokai central Japan regions and the Chugoku western region. The assessments stayed the same for the other six.
   "The economy has been expanding moderately," the BOJ said of Tokai, a key manufacturing center, adding "moderately" to its assessment.
   On Hokuriku, the report said, "The economy has continued on an expanding trend, although the pace has moderated further." The previous report said the economy was "expanding moderately."
   The Chugoku economy "has been on a moderate expanding trend, albeit at a somewhat slower pace," the bank said. The previous assessment said the economy was "expanding moderately, although some weakness has been observed in part."
