東京地検、秋元議員を再逮捕へ　別の収賄容疑、１４日にも―ＩＲ汚職

　カジノを含む統合型リゾート（ＩＲ）事業をめぐる汚職事件で、衆院議員秋元司容疑者（４８）＝自民党離党＝が中国企業側から逮捕容疑以外にも賄賂の提供を受けていた疑いが強まったとして、東京地検特捜部は１０日、同容疑者を収賄容疑で再逮捕する方針を固めた。勾留期限の１４日にも再逮捕する。
　関係者によると、秋元容疑者は２０１７年１２月、マカオのカジノ施設を視察し、中国・深センにある「５００ドットコム」の本社を訪問。この際の旅費などをドットコム社側に負担させた疑いが持たれている。
　ドットコム社は同年８月、那覇市で開催したＩＲ関連シンポジウムで秋元容疑者に講演を依頼。シンポの数日後に同容疑者が国土交通兼内閣府副大臣に就任、ＩＲを担当する人事を知り、当初予定していた５０万円の講演料を２００万円に増額していた。
　特捜部はこの講演料についても、ＩＲ事業参入での有利な取り計らいを期待して提供された賄賂だった疑いがあるとみて、詰めの捜査を進めている。
　秋元容疑者は１７年９月２８日の衆院解散日に、ドットコム社側から「陣中見舞い」として現金３００万円を受領したほか、１８年２月、同社が参入を目指したＩＲ事業が計画されていた北海道留寿都村に家族旅行に出掛け、旅費約７０万円を同社側に負担させた疑いで逮捕されている。
　関係者によると、容疑を否認しているという。（2020/01/11-07:32）

A fresh arrest warrant will be served on lawmaker Tsukasa Akimoto on suspicion of receiving bribes from a Chinese company other than those written in his first warrant, it was learned Friday.
   The Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office's special investigation squad plans to serve the warrant on Akimoto, 48, by Tuesday, when his detention period ends.
   The member of the House of Representatives, the lower chamber of the Diet, Japan's parliament, was arrested last month for taking bribes from the company, 500.com Ltd., which planned to open a casino resort in Japan.
   In December 2017, Akimoto inspected a casino facility in Macao and visited the Chinese company's head office in Shenzhen, according to informed sources.
   Akimoto is suspected of having 500.com cover his expenses for the trip.
