給与総額、３カ月ぶり減　製造業で残業少なく―昨年１１月

　厚生労働省が８日発表した昨年１１月の毎月勤労統計調査（速報値）は、現金給与総額（名目賃金）が前年同月比０．２％減の２８万４６５２円と、３カ月ぶりのマイナスとなった。米中貿易摩擦や台風の影響で、生産が低下した製造業などで残業代が減ったことが響いた。
　名目賃金のうち残業代を中心とする所定外給与は、製造業で１１．９％減。所定外の労働時間も１４．４％減と、２カ月連続で２桁のマイナスだった。企業が残業を縮小し、給与の減少につながっているとみられる。（2020/01/08-08:34）

Japan Nominal Wages Down for 1st Time in 3 Months

Nominal wages in Japan in November sagged 0.2 pct from a year before to 284,652 yen on average, down for the first time in three months, preliminary labor ministry data showed Wednesday.
   The drop came as overtime pay fell, mainly in the manufacturing industry, after production cutbacks due to U.S.-China trade friction and typhoons.
   Of the nominal wages, overtime and other nonregular pay in the manufacturing sector went down 11.9 pct. Overtime working hours at manufacturers declined 14.4 pct, posting a double-digit fall for two months in a row.
   Reduced overtime hours apparently pushed down pay.
   All-industry average nonregular pay decreased 1.9 pct to 20,304 yen.
