「密出国に当たる犯罪」 ゴーン被告逃亡で森法相

森雅子法相は６日、法務省で記者会見し、日産自動車前会長カルロス・ゴーン被告（６５）がレバノンに無断出国した事件で、「（逃亡は）密出国、すなわち不法出国に当たる犯罪だ」と厳しく批判した。また、保釈制度の見直しに関し、保釈中の被告人に全地球測位システム（ＧＰＳ）を搭載した機器を装着することを含め、検討する考えを示した。
ゴーン被告の出国に関しては、「事実関係は現在も確認中」とした。Ｘ線検査の有無や詳しい出国の経緯についても「捜査中であり回答を差し控える」と答えるにとどめた。（2020/01/06-12:14）
Ghosn's Departure Illegal: Japan's Justice Minister
Carlos Ghosn's departure from Japan was illegal, Japanese Justice Minister Masako Mori said Monday.
The act by the former Nissan Motor Co. chairman amounted to "smuggling out of the country and a crime," Mori said at a press conference.
How Ghosn left the country is currently under investigation, she said.
Mori said her ministry is considering the possibility of using the Global Positioning System to monitor defendants on bail.
The possible GPS use is part of a broader plan that the ministry is considering to review the country's bail system, as the number of defendants skipping out on bail is increasing.
