安倍氏に最後の別れ　岸田首相参列、麻生氏が弔辞

　参院選の遊説中に銃撃され亡くなった自民党の安倍晋三元首相の葬儀が１２日、東京・芝公園の増上寺で執り行われた。喪主は妻の昭恵さんが務め、岸田文雄首相ら約１０００人が参列。憲政史上最長の政権を樹立した安倍氏に最後の別れを告げた。
　自民党の麻生太郎副総裁が弔辞を読み、「国際社会で日本の存在を高めた戦後最も優れた政治家だ」と盟友を悼んだ。その上で「そのうち私も行くから楽しく話そう」と呼び掛けた。
　最後には「あなたが私の弔辞を読むことになっていたのではないか。私が弔辞を読むのは大変つらい」と悔しさもにじませた。
　昭恵さんはあいさつで「いつも私のことを守ってくれました。やり残したことはたくさんあったと思うが、種をいっぱいまいているので、芽吹くことでしょう」と語った。
　葬儀には森喜朗元首相、台湾の頼清徳副総統らも参列。出棺前には、親族らでひつぎに花を手向けた。昭恵さんが安倍氏の顔に頬ずりして、しばらく別れを惜しむ場面もあったという。
　安倍氏のひつぎを乗せた車列は葬儀後、自民党本部や首相官邸、国会などを回り、大勢の関係者が手を合わせるなどして見送った。増上寺や党本部には献花台も設けられ、急逝を悼む人々が長い列をつくった。（2022/07/12-19:06）

A funeral for former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who was gunned down last week, took place among his relatives and other people close to him at the Zojoji temple in Tokyo on Tuesday.
   Among the attendees was current Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
   After the family funeral, a vehicle carrying Abe's body will travel to the prime minister's office, the Diet, Japan's parliament, and the headquarters of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party, to which he belonged.
   Abe was shot on Friday while delivering a stump speech for an LDP candidate in Sunday's House of Councillors election in the city of Nara, western Japan. He was confirmed dead later Friday.
   On Tuesday night, a wake for Abe was held at Zojoji, located in the Shibakoen district in Minato Ward in the Japanese capital, with some 2,500 people visiting the temple to pay tribute to the late prime minister.
