東和薬品がスペイン企業買収　３８９億円、欧米本格進出へ

　後発医薬品（ジェネリック）大手の東和薬品は２３日、スペイン製薬大手エステベグループから後発薬会社を買収すると発表した。買収額は３億２０００万ユーロ（約３８９億円）。東和薬品はスペインの工場と欧州５カ所、米国１カ所の販売事業拠点を手に入れ、本格的に海外に進出する。（2019/12/23-20:45）

Towa to Acquire Generic Division of Esteve

Japan's Towa Pharmaceutical Co. said Monday it will spend 320 million euros to acquire the generic division of Spain's Esteve.
The acquisition of Pensa Investments S.L. will mark Towa's full-scale entry into overseas markets, giving the Japanese generic drug maker a manufacturing plant in Spain, five sales bases in Europe and a sales base in the United States.
