国内新たに２万７７９人感染　前週比ほぼ半減―新型コロナ

　国内では５日、新たに２万７７９人の新型コロナウイルス感染が確認された。前週木曜日の新規感染者（４万１７５０人）と比べ、ほぼ半減した。死者は１８人で、重症者は前日比８人減の１６６人だった。
　東京都では２３２０人の感染を確認。新規感染者は前週比で３０７４人減少した。８０～９０代の男女４人の死亡も確認された。
　都によると、新規感染者の直近１週間平均は３０１６人で前週比５９．７％。都基準による重症者は前日と同じ１０人だった。
　高知県は宿泊療養施設となっている高知市内のホテルで従業員ら６人の陽性が判明し、クラスター（感染者集団）が確認されたと発表した。重症者はおらず、県内の受け入れ態勢に支障はないという。（2022/05/05-19:56）

A total of 2,320 people tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Tokyo on Thursday, down by 3,074 from a week before, the government of the Japanese capital said.
   Four COVID-19 patients in the age group of 80-99 were confirmed dead, according to the Tokyo metropolitan government.
   The seven-day average of new infection cases in Tokyo came to 3,016 as of Thursday, down 40.3 pct week on week.
   The number of novel coronavirus patients with severe symptoms under the metropolitan government's criteria stood at 10, unchanged from Wednesday.
