医師、看護師が人気　コロナ禍、命救う姿に憧れ―なりたいもの調査

　第一生命保険は１６日、全国の小学３年生～高校３年生の男女３０００人を対象とした２０２１年度の「大人になったらなりたいもの」アンケートの結果を発表した。「医師」「看護師」など医療関係の職種が上位に入った。同社は、新型コロナウイルス感染症に関する報道などを通じて働く姿を目にする機会が増え、「人の命を救う姿に憧れを持った子どもが多かった」と分析した。
　医師は、小学男児で６位（前年度ランク外）、女児は５位（同９位）に上昇。中学女子は３位、高校男女とも６位で、前年度から順位を上げた。看護師は小学女児と中学女子で２位、高校女子で３位と人気を集めた。
　「会社員」は前年度に続き小学男児、中学男女、高校男女で首位。「会社員としてどんな仕事がしてみたいか」との問いには、小学男児と中学男女、高校男子で「科学技術・ものづくり」がトップだった。第一生命は、ロボットなどの最新技術や研究職にも関心が集まったとみている。
　小学生では「パティシエ」（女児１位）や「サッカー選手」（男児３位）、野球選手（同５位）も引き続き人気。「ＹｏｕＴｕｂｅｒ・動画投稿者」は男児で２位、女児で６位だった。

Medical occupations, such as doctors and nurses, ranked high in the list of what Japanese children want to be when they grow up, an annual survey by Dai-ichi Life Insurance Co. showed Wednesday.
   With children now having more opportunities to see through news reports medical staff working in the fight against the novel coronavirus pandemic, "many came to aspire to be someone who saves people's lives," Dai-ichi Life said.
   The fiscal 2021 survey was conducted online in December last year, covering a total of 3,000 children from third-grade elementary school students to final-year high school students across the country.
   Doctor came in sixth in the dream job list of elementary school boys, after failing to make it into the fiscal 2020 rankings, and fifth in such list for elementary school girls, rising from ninth. The job came in third for junior high school girls and sixth for high school boys and girls, all higher than respective fiscal 2020 rankings.
   Nurse was the second favorite job for elementary school girls and junior high school girls, and third for high school girls.
