教訓後世へ、決意新た　１１年「あっという間」、発生時刻に黙とう―宮城・福島

　またあの日が巡ってきた。家族を、友人を無慈悲に奪い去った巨大な揺れと津波。東日本大震災から１１年となった１１日、東北各地の沿岸部では、地震発生時刻の午後２時４６分、多くの人が鎮魂の祈りをささげ、教訓を語り継ぐ決意を新たにした。
　宮城県名取市の閖上地区では、元住民らが故人への思いを書いたハト型の風船３１１個を、空へ放った。当時小学１年だった南部陽向さん（１８）は「津波の怖さや自分の身を守る大切さを伝えていきたい」と力を込めた。
　震災関連死を含め３５００人以上が犠牲となった同県石巻市。母を亡くした小売業大槻康樹さん（４３）は家族で復興祈念公園を訪れ、「子ども２人は震災後に生まれたので実感を持てないと思うが、いつか分かるはず」と話した。「がんばろう！石巻」と書かれた看板の前で黙とうした看護師羽根田久美さん（４０）は「１１年はあっという間だ」と涙を浮かべた。
　福島県相馬市では、地元の子どもらが犠牲者へのメッセージなどをつづった木の葉約１万枚を海に流した。菊地桜子ちゃん（５）は、津波で亡くなった曽祖父へ「元気だよ」と報告。母親の春奈さん（３４）は「子どもたちに震災の経験を伝えていきたい」と話した。
　東京電力福島第１原発事故の対応拠点となった同県のサッカー施設「Ｊヴィレッジ」でも黙とうが行われ、知人が犠牲となった前橋市の林ちなみさん（５７）は「つらい話ばかりで、ここを訪ねるのはためらわれたが、１０年を過ぎて初めて来た。当たり前の暮らしが戻ることが一番」と語った。（2022/03/11-20:30）

Survivors of the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami gathered in various places on the coast of the Tohoku northeastern Japan region Friday to remember their relatives and friends who perished in the disaster 11 years ago.
   At 2:46 p.m. (5:46 a.m. GMT), the exact time when the 9.0-magnitude quake struck March 11, 2011, bereaved families and others offered silent prayers for the victims, renewing pledges to pass down memories and lessons from the disaster.
   In the Yuriage district of Natori, Miyagi Prefecture, 311 dove-shaped balloons with written messages for victims were released into the sky.
   "I want to tell people how terrifying tsunami is and how important it is to protect oneself (from a disaster)," said 18-year-old Hina Nanbu, who was an elementary school first grader at the time of the disaster.
   Yasuki Otsuki, 43, visited a tsunami memorial park in the Miyagi city of Ishinomaki, where 3,500 lives were lost, including those who died of related causes.
