田中さんが２位　１７歳「夢のよう」―ローザンヌ国際バレエ

　【モントルー（スイス）時事】若手バレエダンサーの登竜門として知られる「ローザンヌ国際バレエコンクール」第５０回大会の最終選考が５日、スイス西部モントルーで行われ、大阪府東大阪市出身の田中月乃さん（１７）が２位に入賞した。優勝は米国出身のダリオン・セルマンさん（１７）だった。
　田中さんは受賞後、「夢のようで信じられない」と涙を拭いながら喜びを語った。「完璧とまではいかないが、夢の舞台で踊れたのですごく楽しかった」と振り返った。
　田中さんは４歳からバレエを始め、２０２０年８月からスイス北部チューリヒのバレエ学校に留学中。新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大でスタジオが閉鎖されるなどし、自宅での練習を余儀なくされた。「思うように動けず難しかったが、防音シートを使うなど工夫した」と話した。
　横浜市出身の高田幸弥さん（１８）、オーストラリアと日本の国籍を持ち、豪国籍で出場した清水ひようさん（１８）も最終選考に進んだが、入賞を逃した。高田さんは「今は悔しいが、最終に残れたことだけでも自信につながった」と力強く語った。清水さんも「全力を出した。結果に満足している」と笑顔を見せた。
　コンクールは毎年スイスのローザンヌで開催されているが、劇場が改修中のため２０年と同様にモントルーで行われた。昨年は新型コロナの感染拡大を受け、選考がビデオ形式で実施された。（2022/02/06-06:15）

Japanese dancer Tsukino Tanaka won the second prize at this year's Prix de Lausanne, a prestigious international competition for young ballet dancers, in Montreux, Switzerland, on Saturday.
   "It's unbelievable. It's like a dream," Tanaka, a 17-year-old from Higashiosaka, Osaka Prefecture, said while wiping away tears. "It was not perfect, but dancing at this dream stage gave me a lot of fun."
   Tanaka started dancing ballet at age 4 and has been studying at a school in Zurich since August 2020.
   She has been forced to practice at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic. "It was difficult because I couldn't move as I wanted, but I did all kinds of things such as using sound-proof sheets," she said of her practice.
   Japanese dancer Sachiya Takata, an 18-year-old from Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, and one of the finalists who failed to win prizes, said, "Becoming a finalist gave me confidence."
