ラグビー日本代表がパレード　約５万人が祝福―東京・丸の内

　ラグビーのワールドカップ（Ｗ杯）日本大会で史上初の８強入りを果たした日本代表のパレードが１１日、東京・丸の内で行われ、約５万人のファンが祝福した。
　出発点の有楽町電気ビル前では、リーチマイケル主将（東芝）が「日本中がワンチームになったことがうれしい。日本ラグビーがもっと強くなるように頑張りたい」とあいさつ。稲垣啓太選手（パナソニック）、松島幸太朗選手（サントリー）ら２８人がスーツ姿で丸の内仲通りの８００メートルを歩き、オフィス街の沿道を埋めた観衆の声援に応えた。

　パレードを終えた稲垣選手は「平日にこれだけのファンの方が集まって、本当に感謝の気持ち。声援が温かかった」と話し、田中史朗選手（キヤノン）は涙を流して「ありがとうの一言しかない」と感無量の様子だった。（2019/12/11-17:38）

Members of the Japanese national team for the 2019 Rugby World Cup paraded in Tokyo's Marunouchi business district on Wednesday, receiving a storm of cheers from some 50,000 fans.
   Michael Leitch, who captained the team in the World Cup in Japan, said he is glad to see the country become "one team."
   "One team," a slogan of the national rugby team, was picked as this year's top buzzword in Japan earlier this month. Japan reached the Rugby World Cup quarterfinals for the first time in this year's tournament. Leitch also said he will make efforts to strengthen Japanese rugby further.
   Dressed in suits, 28 members of the team, dubbed the Brave Blossoms, walked down the 800-meter parade route set on Marunouchi Nakadori street. Among the participating members were prop Keita Inagaki and full back Kotaro Matsushima.
   "I'm really grateful as so many fans gathered," Inagaki said after the parade. "The cheers were warm."
