感染者初の８万人超　東京最多１．７万―新型コロナ

　国内では２８日、新たに８万１８０８人の新型コロナウイルス感染が確認された。新規感染者が８万人を超えたのは初めてで、４日連続で過去最多を更新した。重症者は前日から１６０人増の６９７人、死者は４４人確認された。
　東京都の新規感染者は１万７６３１人で、前日の１万６５３８人を上回り、４日連続で過去最多を更新。都によると、病床使用率は４６．１％で、前日から１．７ポイント上昇した。重症者用病床使用率は３．９％。都基準による重症者は前日から２人増え２０人、死者は３人だった。
　大阪府では過去最多の１万１３人の感染が確認された。１万人を超えたのは初めて。東京、大阪に加え、神奈川（６４６９人）、愛知（５２６７人）、兵庫（４３４２人）、埼玉（４１９３人）、広島（１５９９人）、奈良（１００４人）など計２３都府県で過去最多となった。（2022/01/28-20:03）

Tokyo confirmed 17,631 new cases of novel coronavirus infection Friday, marking a record daily high for the fourth straight day, the metropolitan government said.
   The figure compared with Thursday's 16,538.
   The occupancy rate of hospital beds for COVID-19 patients in the Japanese capital stood at 46.1 pct as of Friday, up 1.7 percentage points from the previous day. The rate was at 3.9 pct for beds for severely ill patients.
   The number of coronavirus patients in serious condition under Tokyo's criteria rose by two to 20, while three new deaths were confirmed among coronavirus patients.
   In the western prefecture of Osaka, new COVID-19 cases came to 10,013 Friday, topping 10,000 for the first time.
