和牛増産、基盤強化を支援　自民、日米協定で政策大綱見直し

　日米貿易協定の国会承認を受け、自民党の経済協定対策本部などは４日、農業を中心とした国内対策の指針となる政策大綱の見直し案を了承した。対米輸出拡大が期待される和牛の増産や、生産基盤の弱い中小規模の農家に対する支援拡充などを行う。
　森山裕本部長は見直し案について「必要な施策を盛り込むことができた」と評価。２０１９年度補正に計上する農業分野の予算規模に関しては「３２５０億円くらい」との見通しを示した。
　政策大綱の見直し案によると、海外輸出や国内消費の増加に対応するため、牛の飼育頭数を増やす農家に「奨励金」を交付。和牛受精卵の増産や移植も推進する。（2019/12/04-19:08）

Liberal Democratic Party teams Wednesday approved draft measures to increase "wagyu" beef production and support for small farmers before the Japan-U.S. trade agreement takes effect next month.
   The measures are included in a draft revision to the ruling party's policy guidelines for measures to ease the impact of free trade deals on domestic industries. The teams adopted the draft revision Wednesday, when the Diet, Japan's parliament, approved the trade agreement.
   "We included necessary measures" in the draft, said Hiroshi Moriyama, head of the LDP headquarters for trade agreements.
   He said that "about 325 billion yen" will be booked for the agriculture sector in the forthcoming fiscal 2019 supplementary budget.
   According to the draft guidelines, financial incentives will be provided to farmers if they increase the number of livestock cattle, as beef exports and domestic consumption are expected to grow.
