ファミマ、郵便局に無人決済店　月内に埼玉・川越で第１号

　ファミリーマートが日本郵政グループと連携し、全国の郵便局内に無人決済のコンビニエンスストアを開設する方針であることが２０日、分かった。第１号として月内に埼玉県川越市の郵便局に出店する。国内コンビニ市場が頭打ちとなる中、従来型店舗とは異なる場所での出店を進め、２０２４年度末までに無人決済店１０００店という計画の実現を目指す。
　無人決済店は、天井に設置されたカメラや棚のセンサーで来店客が手にした商品を把握。レジに従業員はおらず、専用の決済端末で支払う。出店費用は高めだが、人件費などの運営コストが下がるので、小規模の店舗でも採算を確保できる。（2021/10/20-22:07）

Major Japanese convenience store operator FamilyMart Co. is planning to work with the Japan Post Holdings Co. group to open unmanned convenience stores within post offices throughout Japan, informed sources have said.
FamilyMart will open the first such store with an unmanned checkout counter by the end of this month at a post office in the city of Kawagoe, Saitama Prefecture, north of Tokyo.
