岸田首相、人命第一の対応指示　阿蘇山噴火で情報連絡室

　岸田文雄首相は２０日、熊本県の阿蘇山噴火を受け、衆院選の遊説先から松野博一官房長官に対し、人命第一の対応を指示した。政府は首相官邸の危機管理センターに情報連絡室を設置。関係自治体と連携し、被害状況の把握などに努めた。
　松野氏は「人命救助を第一に、自治体と緊密に連携を取りながら、自衛隊、警察、消防を機動的に対応させている」と記者団に強調した。
　政府の危機管理をめぐっては、北朝鮮が１９日に弾道ミサイルを発射した際、首相と松野氏がともに選挙活動のため東京都内を離れていた。首相は事態把握後もしばらく遊説を続けたため、与野党から懸念や批判の声が上がっていた。
　２０日は、松野氏が噴火直後に官邸へ駆け付け、対応に当たった。一方、兵庫県を訪問中だった首相はツイッターで、周辺住民に「警戒をお願いします」と呼び掛けた上で、予定通りの日程を続行した。
　これに関し、松野氏は選挙期間中の危機管理体制が十分か記者団に問われ、「日頃から万全を期せるよう連絡体制を取っている。問題ない」と述べた。（2021/10/20-16:23）

Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on Wednesday instructed the government to put the top priority on protecting human life, following an eruption of Mount Aso in southwestern Japan.
   Kishida gave the order while he was absent from the prime minister's office in Tokyo, according to Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno.
   Kishida was visiting Hyogo Prefecture, western Japan, on the campaign trail for the Oct. 31 election of the House of Representatives, the lower chamber of the Diet, Japan's parliament.
   "The government has received no reports of human causalities from the eruption," Matsuno told reporters.
   Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihiko Isozaki told a press conference that the government is collecting information on details of the eruption, which happened in the morning.
