ＡＧＣ、生産設備開発にＡＲ　作り直し抑制、期間３割減へ

素材の生産設備開発に導入する拡張現実（ＡＲ）技術を実演するＡＧＣの関係者＝２７日午前、東京都中央区

　ＡＧＣは２７日、現実の映像にコンピューター画像を重ね合わせる拡張現実（ＡＲ）技術を生産設備の開発に活用すると発表した。素材と生産設備それぞれの開発者の間にある認識のずれをなくし、設備完成後の作り直しなどを抑える。設備開発の期間は３割削減することを目指す。（2019/11/27-13:39）

AGC to Utilize 3-D Images to Develop Production Facilities

Japanese glass maker AGC Inc. said Wednesday it will utilize for production facility development augmented reality technology to add computer-generated three-dimensional images to real-world views.
AGC hopes that the technology will make it easier for developers to find flaws before completion and will shorten the time needed for facility development by 30 pct.
