本格参入、半年延期＝楽天携帯、基地局整備遅れで

　楽天の携帯電話サービスの本格的な開始が１０月から半年遅れ、２０２０年春になる見通しであることが６日、明らかになった。基地局整備が間に合わないため。１０月からは５０００人に限定し、無料サービスを提供する。
　６日午後に三木谷浩史会長兼社長が詳細を発表する。
　楽天は来年３月末までに、東京２３区や大阪市、名古屋市を中心に３４３２局の基地局を整備する計画だったが、用地確保などが進まず、大幅に遅れていた。こうした状況を踏まえ、総務省は早急に整備を進めるよう３回にわたって行政指導を行っている。（2019/09/06-09:59）

Rakuten to Delay Start of Full Mobile Service by 6 Months

Rakuten Inc. is expected to push back the start of its full mobile services in Japan by six months until spring 2020 due to a delay in constructing base stations, informed sources said Friday.
Rakuten Mobile Inc., a unit of the Japanese e-commerce company, initially planned to start the full service in October. Starting next month, it will offer free services to 5,000 customers, the sources said.
