２９日にも緊急事態要請へ　新型コロナ感染急拡大に危機感―首都圏３県

　新型コロナウイルス対策の「まん延防止等重点措置」が発令されている埼玉、千葉、神奈川の首都圏３県は２８日、国に緊急事態宣言の発令を要請する方針を固めた。２９日にも要請する。人出の増加や、感染力の強いインド由来のデルタ株の広がりから、感染が急拡大しているためで、各県では危機感が強まっている。
　千葉県は２８日、宣言発令を要請することを決めた。県庁で記者団の取材に応じた熊谷俊人知事は「感染の急激な増加傾向が続き、いよいよ危機的水準に達しつつある。３県そろって要請しないといけない局面だ」と強調。２９日に埼玉、神奈川両県知事と共に西村康稔経済再生担当相と協議する方向で調整していると明らかにした。
　神奈川県の黒岩祐治知事も２８日、「あした（２９日）、３県で共同の要請をまとめ、国に求めていく段取りになると考えている」と記者団に語った。埼玉県は２８日夜、医師らで構成する専門家会議を開いて国に宣言発令を要請する方針を諮り、了承された。（2021/07/28-21:47）

Three prefectures neighboring Tokyo began final arrangements Wednesday to ask the Japanese central government soon to declare a coronavirus state of emergency.
   Saitama, Chiba and Kanagawa prefectures, currently in a pre-emergency stage, have been alarmed by active movements of people and the spread of the delta variant of the virus, which have led to a surge in infections.
   The number of infections is "rising dramatically nationwide. We're at the crucial moment," Kanagawa Governor Yuji Kuroiwa told reporters Wednesday, adding that the three prefectures are having talks to make the request.
   Chiba is expected to decide on the request in a meeting later in the afternoon. Saitama will hold discussions in the evening.
   Tokyo, where the Olympics are being held, is in its fourth state of emergency. The three neighboring prefectures also have Olympic venues.
