専門家「五輪無観客、国は覚悟を」　宣言解除後の第５波警戒

　新型コロナウイルス対策の緊急事態宣言は沖縄を除いて２０日の期限で解除されるが、五輪開幕が迫る東京では感染者の減少ペースが鈍化し、一部で増加の兆しすらうかがえる。専門家は宣言解除後の人出増による「第５波」に危機感を示し、東京五輪について「無観客開催を決めるくらいの覚悟を」と政府に求める。
　１６日にあった厚生労働省専門家組織の会合では、東京の人出が昼夜ともに５週連続で増え、約２カ月前の宣言発令前の水準まで戻りつつあることが報告された。メンバーの一人は「東京では２０代で感染が増えている。リバウンド（感染再拡大）が見られて直ちに対策を打っても、時間的なずれが生じる。安易な解除は考えられない」と語った。
　別のメンバーは「宣言中でも酒類提供を抑えられない飲食店もあり、そんな状態で宣言を維持しても効果がない」と解除に理解を示した。ただ、「解除してもリバウンドの懸念は強く、全く楽観的になれない」と不安ものぞかせた。
　東京医科大の浜田篤郎特任教授（渡航医学）は、リバウンドによる第５波が７～８月に東京で起きる恐れがあるとした上で、「人出増加によりインド型変異株が拡大したら、４月と同じくらいの感染レベルになり、宣言発令に追い込まれる」と分析する。
　解除後の政府の対応について、浜田氏は「飲食店への時短要請といった対応を自治体任せにするだけでは駄目だ。『リバウンド防止に向けて人出を増やさない』というメッセージを国民に強く伝える必要がある」と指摘。「五輪の無観客開催やパブリックビューイングの禁止を打ち出すくらいの覚悟を持つべきだ」と訴えた。（2021/06/18-09:02）

With the current state of emergency over the COVID-19 epidemic set to be lifted in most areas, including Tokyo, on Sunday, experts are warning of a possible "fifth wave" of infections in Japan.
   Ahead of the July 23 opening of the Tokyo Olympics, there are emerging signs of a rebound in new cases of novel coronavirus infection in Tokyo.
   According to a report made at a meeting of a COVID-19 advisory panel to the health ministry on Thursday, both daytime and nighttime crowds in the Japanese capital have increased for five weeks in a row to near levels before the state of emergency was imposed about two months ago.
   A member of the panel noted that infections are spreading especially among people in their 20s.
   "There would be a time lag even if countermeasures are taken immediately against any rebound (in infections)," the member said. "So it's impossible to think that (the state of emergency) will be lifted without careful consideration."
